Live In Warren Park

Nestled in a valley along the Humber River, the community, named after John Warren, a trustee for York Township, began as a small circle of homes and farmland.  In the 1950s, major development began on the area, consisting of the construction of mostly semi-detached houses, with large yards, mature trees and private driveways.

This area is largely defined by its proximity to the Humber River and surrounding parkland.  Residents are within a 5 minute walk to the playground, baseball diamonds and walking & riding trails offered along the banks of the Humber River.  Warren Park has a very active and competitive Hockey Association and arena.  A neighbourhood elementary school, which offers a highly regarded outdoor education program, combined with affordable, entry-level homes, makes this a desirable area for young families.

Shopping is within walking distance at the large Loblaw’s Humber Market, as well as the shops along Jane & Annette Streets.  The popular shopping district of Bloor West Village, with its cafés, shops, restaurants, fruit & vegetable markets, and flower shops, is a 10 minute ride away, either by car or by city bus, which runs through the neighbourhood throughout the day.  The Warren Park neighbourhood offers the feel of life in the suburbs, while still providing all of the benefits and excitement of city living!

In terms of public transit, the area is served by a quick bus ride to Jane Station, which allows access to downtown Toronto in 15-20 minutes.  Travel by car to either downtown Toronto or the airport is easily accessed via the Gardiner Expressway, from the foot of South Kingsway.
